Booking & Cancellation Policies
We understand that it isn't always possible to be present at planned events, but to be fair for all current and waitlist attendees, instructors, and other personnel, we have a cancellation policy in place. We do not make exceptions to our policies.
Event Bookings & Cancellations
Events must be booked through https://wearevikingyoga.com/. No other website or portal shall be used to book events for We Are Viking Yoga. Unless confirmed by the owner of We Are Viking Yoga or the event instructor, no attendance is allowed without confirmation and receipt of event booking. Each individual who attends We Are Viking Yoga events must be responsible for their own unique email confirmation and receipt. Each attendee may only book for themselves and not for any other individual or third-party. If any individual or entity attempts to book for multiple individuals, entities, or third-parties, We Are Viking Yoga has the right to ban that individual or entity from participating and/or attending at We Are Viking Yoga events or experiences.
Events must be canceled no later than 24 hours before the event. You can do this via emailing WeAreVikingYoga@gmail.com. Cancellations cannot be accepted by phone. Late cancellations or no shows will be considered an absentee.
We prefer that you arrive prior to the scheduled beginning time. If you arrive late by 15 minutes or more, you will be considered an absentee as well as have the absence recorded on your record. Your reserved space may be offered up to a waitlist attendee. We cannot admit latecomers and you acknowledge that you understand this.
If you are added to the waitlist when booking and a space opens up, you will automatically be added from the waitlist into that event’s attendees. If you have email notifications enabled, you may receive an “added from waitlist” or similar automatic email notification. Please add to your email’s safe senders list to stop automatic emails from going into your spam folder. If you are added from the waitlist and can no longer attend, as well as not confirmed that you will be at the event after receiving an attendance opening, you will not be considered an absentee due to the understanding that last-minute changes from We Are Viking Yoga’s event are We Are Viking Yoga’s obligation. However, if you are on the waitlist and confirm that you will be attending the event after receiving updates from We Are Viking Yoga, and are 15 or more minutes late to the event, then you will not be able to attend the event as well as be listed as an absentee and having that absence added to your record.
Absentees & Personal Record
As stated in “Event Arrival,” if you arrive late by 15 minutes or more, you will be considered an absentee as well as have the absence recorded on your record. We do not make exceptions to the rule and either the instructor, event owner, or other third-party personnel may be allowed to confirm your absence if you do not arrive at all or arrive 15 or more minutes late. The absentees will be permanently on the record unless expunged with the approval of We Are Viking Yoga in either an electronic mail receipt or hard copy receipt of expungement. Your personal record will allow for 3 absences. If 3 absences are recorded then We Are Viking Yoga has the right to enforce a permanent ban on you for all existing and future events. You understand and agree to the Absentees & Personal Record policy.
You understand that We Are Viking Yoga does not request or ask for payment to enter and enjoy the events. However, you understand that there may be merchandise, food, drinks, services, or goods that can be purchased either directly from We Are Viking Yoga or third-party entities at the event that are pre-approved by We Are Viking Yoga. With that being said, all payments are non-refundable unless explicitly stated by We Are Viking Yoga. We Are Viking Yoga holds no obligations to refund payments; however, We Are Viking Yoga may refund any payments and is up to We Are Viking Yoga’s discretion. All donations made to We Are Viking Yoga will be non-refundable and will be collected for the purpose of running operations. Donations may be held by a non-profit organization, an incorporated entity, or individual, depending on the circumstance of the donation, the origin of the donation, and existing corporate or non-profit structure currently under management. Should you become unwell or injured, a note from your doctor must be provided and your case will be assessed on an individual basis.
